Synopsis

Leo and Frankie are polar opposite best friends and roommates living under the same roof. Leona "Leo," 23, is a disorderly and artistic extrovert with a sassy streak. Her naivete makes her rather short-sighted and more concerned with having a good time than making a living, much to Frankie's chagrin. Although Leo relies on the financial support of her well-off mother, Elaine, they have a tense relationship, given that Leo doesn't have a paying job. Francesca "Frankie," 23, is a put-together and highly capable paralegal with a penchant for stress, despite her qualifications. Frankie's ingrained need for order and neatness sometimes causes her to clash with Leo, particularly when Leo's carelessness affects her negatively. After Frankie's laptop gets broken during a party, Frankie's lovably dense but well-meaning boyfriend, Alex, who works in marketing at Neuralyte, gives Leo a TOLLY chip. Does Leo know anything about computers? Of course not! But never fear, because with TOLLY, she'll have the power to learn anything, instantly! Leo's success with TOLLY eventually brings Frankie on board, and for a while everything is great...until the girls begin seeing and hearing things that aren't there, a conveniently left-out side effect of using the program. With their psyches slowly crumbling, how will they band together to fight back against the powerful tech company Neuralyte for the right to their minds?
